Which path is cheapest to start?+
Pedagio is the lowest-friction and lowest-cost way to go live — it is a fully hosted, branded academy with courses and payments built in, so there is nothing to build or maintain. Managed Moodle and WordPress+Moodle both start from ₹499/month hosting plus the branding and setup work. A custom app is quoted per project. If budget is the deciding factor and your needs are fairly standard, start with Pedagio.
Can I start simple and move to my own Moodle later?+
Yes — that is a common path. Many academies launch on Pedagio to validate demand, then graduate to their own managed Moodle with a custom theme and plugins once they want deeper control. Because we run all of these, we help you migrate your content and students when the time comes, rather than you starting over.
What's the difference between Managed Moodle and WordPress + Moodle?+
Managed Moodle is a single, branded LMS — best when the learning experience is the whole product. WordPress + Moodle adds a separate WordPress site for marketing, blogging, and selling (via WooCommerce), with Moodle sitting behind it for delivery. Choose WordPress + Moodle when your public website and store matter as much as the courses themselves.
When do I actually need a custom EdTech app?+
Only when no off-the-shelf platform fits your model — for example a multi-tenant marketplace, a cohort-based platform with unusual scheduling, a mobile-first experience, or deep integrations. For most coaching institutes and course creators, one of the first three paths is faster, cheaper, and just as capable. We will tell you honestly if a custom build is overkill for you.
Can I sell in international currencies (USD, AUD)?+
Yes. Our hosting is billed in your currency, and both Pedagio and WooCommerce-based setups can take international payments. If your learners are outside India, we also host close to them so pages and quizzes stay fast.
Do you help me decide, or do I have to pick before contacting you?+
You do not need to decide first — that is what the call is for. Tell us your subject, your audience, your budget, and your timeline, and we will recommend the path that fits, honestly, even if it is the cheapest one. There is no cost to talk it through.
