ETmantra is an EdTech company with a simple purpose: take what educational-technology research has learned about how people actually learn, and turn it into tools, services, and platforms that teachers and institutes can use every day.
ET + Mantra.
ET stands for Educational Technology. Mantra is a Sanskrit word meaning “an instrument of thought.” Together, ETmantra is exactly that — a set of instruments that help educators use technology to create genuinely effective learning.
The company grew out of a Ph.D. in Educational Technology at IIT Bombay — an outstanding department, and the place where our founder studied educational psychology, instructional design, and content creation alongside researchers including Padma Shri Dr. Deepak B. Phatak.
One thing became obvious there: researchers spend their careers finding out what helps people learn — but that knowledge rarely reaches the teachers, parents, and institutes who need it. ETmantra exists to close that gap.

ETmantra began as a blog and a YouTube channel sharing what works in educational content. Today it’s a company that builds and runs the technology spine for India’s education businesses — products, services, AI tools, and free classroom tools.
Educational-technology research mostly lives in papers that never reach the classroom. We translate what actually works into tools and guides teachers can use.
Anyone can put content online. Creating content that genuinely helps people learn is the hard part — and the part we care about.
Teachers and institutes should own their content and their brand, not rent them from a walled garden. Our products are built around that.
Good educational technology should not be out of reach. We keep our products and services priced for real Indian institutions.
